ICF Biel - Big Bang

Today is the 30th May it's shortly before 19:00. The anticipation and tension for the BIG BANG is appreciable. Everything is ready and the foyer in the town theater is filling up more and more. 19:20 the doors open and people flock the hall.About 250 people came to our BIG BANG. The atmosphere is fantastic and many people are thrilled and touched by God.The Celebration is a success. The people of ICF BIEL have done a sensational job.The week after the BIG BANG, 50 people came to the Celebration (about 20 were before this). The atmosphere is great. God is moving something in the ICF Biel.The future is bright.

Heute ist der 30. Mai. Es ist kurz vor 19h00. Die Vorfreude und Anspannung für den BIG BANG ist spürbar.
Alles ist bereit und das Foyer im Stadttheater füllt sich immer mehr. Um 19h20 machen wir die Türen auf und die Leute strömen in den Saal.
Als wir starten sind die Reihen alle gefüllt. Ca. 250 Leute sind zu unserem BIG BANG gekommen. Die Stimmung ist fantastisch und viele Menschen werden begeistert und auch berührt von Gott.
Die Celebration ist ein voller Erfolg. Die Leute von ICF BIEL haben einen sensationellen Job gemacht.
Die Wochen nach dem BIG BANG sind im Durchschnitt 50 Personen an die Celebration gekommen (ca. 20 waren vorher dabei). Die Stimmung ist super und viele haben eine ganz neue Leidenschaft für Jesus bekommen. Gott bewegt etwas im ICF Biel.

ICF Bruchsal Team becomes KfB - Kirche for Bruchsal

During the last few months after the Visionight in Bruchsal there was a change process that led into the decision that there will not be an ICF in Bruchsal.
About 2 years ago Daniel Krug had the dream to start an ICF in Bruchsal. The teambuilding process was really heavy-going for him. They invested lots of energy in renovating a building, but only few teamplayer came on board that embody the Vision and Styles of ICF. Because ICF Karlsruhe is only 20 minutes away and a multiside location plant is not the right step at the moment, it was the logical conclusion to make. It was not an easy decision, but it will be the best for everyone.
Daniel Krug writes: “It was a great and inspiring time with the ICF Movement. Lots of nice people, creative ideas, good coachings and new challenges of how to plant churches at the heartbeat of time. Unfortunately our team building process was very and slow and it was hard for us to plant a church in the style of ICF. We still have the vision to start a church for our city and will continue under a different name: Kirche für Bruchsal. Way to go, ICF and KfB. We´re all on a mission.”
We wish Daniel and the KfB-Team alle the best and God´s blessing for their future.

ICF Bruchsal Team wird zu KfB - Kirche für Bruchsal

In den letzten Monaten nach der Visionnight in Bruchsal gab es einen Change Prozess, der zu dem Ergebnis führte, dass in Bruchsal kein ICF entstehen wird.
Vor ca. 2 Jahren hatte Daniel Krug den Traum, eine ICF Church in Bruchsal zu starten. Der Teambildungsprozess war für ihn sehr mühsam. Es wurde sehr viel Kraft in die Renovierung eines Gebäudes gesteckt, aber es kamen kaum Teamplayer dazu, die die Vision und Styles von ICF verkörperten. Da in nur 20 Minuten Entfernung ICF Karlsruhe liegt und auch eine Multiside Location von Karlsruhe aus in Bruchsal momentan nicht der richtige Schritt ist, war dies die logische Entscheidung. Es war kein leichter Entschluss, aber so ist für alle Beteiligten das Beste.
Daniel Krug schreibt: “Es war eine sehr coole und inspirierend Zeit im ICF Movement mit vielen netten Menschen, kreativen Ideen, guten Coachings und neuen Herausforderungen, wie wir Kirche in der Gegenwart gestalten müssen, damit Menschen verstehen, welch geniale Gedanken Gott über unser Leben hat. Leider dauert  der Aufbau und das Bilden eines Teams bei uns sehr lange und es wurde gegen Ende des letzten Jahres dann für uns als kleine Gruppe, die wir aus keinem bestehenden ICF kamen, sehr mühsam, das Ganze so zu gestalten, dass auch wirklich in absehbarer Zeit ein ICF daraus werden kann. Aber was geblieben ist, ist die Vision für diese Stadt und so haben wir entschieden für die Menschen hier in Bruchsal dennoch weiter eine Kirche zu starten, die anders sein wird. Also, in diesem Sinne, Way to Go, ICF Movement und KfB. We´re all on a mission.””

ICF Leiden, Netherlands - update

A lunch in Leiden on a beautiful day, meeting a beautiful young couple with a little baby on a summers day is awesome. ICF Leiden (the first ICF in Holland) is still in the team phase with the goal to start celebrations around Christmas. Arie & Mirjam Spaanderman believe that christmas time would be perfect t to plan the big bang. Leiden is the one city in with the least Church goers in all of the Netherlands. The perfect place to start a new churn at the heartbeat of time to reach the young people.

Ein Mittagessen in Leiden an einem schönen Tag, eine schönes junges Paar mit einem kleinen Kind an einem Sommertag,... WOW! ICF Leiden (das erste ICF in Holland) ist noch in der Team-Phase mit dem Ziel, an Weihnachten mit dem Big Bang zu starten. Arie & Mirjam Spaanderman glauben, dass Weihnachten perfekt wäre, für den Start. Leiden ist die Stadt in den am wenigsten Kirchgängern von ganz Holland. Der perfekte Ort, um einen neuen Church - am Puls der Zeit beginnen die Jugendlichen erreichen.

ICF Augsburg - after the big bang

It was a joy to visit the ICF in Augsburg. They have started about 3 month ago with a big bang and more than 450 people. Heidi and Mike Müllerbauer are doing an incredible job in creating a high quality celebration every Sunday night in a cinema downtown Augsburg. The average age of the around 80 people that come is 18-25. The next challenge they have is to grow the community side of the church. I am very exited to see what will happen till the end of the year. But one thing is clear. A church plant like this is awesome for Europe and will be the likely to become the new standard.

Es war eine Freude, das ICF in Augsburg zu besuchen. Sie haben vor ca. 3 Monaten mit einem großen Big Bang und mehr als 450 Menschen begonnen. Heidi und Mike Müllerbauer leisten eine super Arbeit um qualitativ hochwertigen Celebrations jeden Sonntagabend in einem Kino der Innenstadt von Augsburg zu gestalten. Das Durchschnittsalter der rund 80 Leute, die kommen, ist 18-25. Die nächste Herausforderung ist der community Bereich der Kirche zu etablieren. Ich bin sehr gespannt was alles bis Ende des Jahres passieren wird.

ICF Start-Up Coaching June 2010

On Saturday 26th June to seven ICF Start-Up churches came to the coaching in Zurich.
The mood from the beginning was very good. After coffee and croissants ND Strupler & Björn Schäfer greeted the pastors and their teams.
The two topic of this Coaching day were: Community & Finances.
After a time of Worship, Michi Sieber & Tiziana Strehler explaind the vision of community.
The passion for the integration of new people and community in the Church was felt.
With enthusiasm, the various teams took time afterwards to answer questions like these for their Church:
How is the whole integration process of the Welcome Bar to the Small Group in our Church? How do we integrate people into a Church as a Small Group? What are our goals for Small Groups? Who is responsible for our Church Community?
Each team told their three Actionsteps regarding the community they intend to implement in the next half of the year in their Church.
In the afternoon, Joel Suter (ICF Zug/Lucerne) told stories from its experience in dealing with personal finances and the Church budget. It became clear that dealing with money starts first in your own life!
After a Saturday filled with a lot of input, the teams went home happy.  

Am Samstag 26. Juni traffen sich 7 Start Up ICF’s zu einem Coaching im ICF Zürich.
Die Stimmung war von Anfang an sehr gut, nach Kaffee  & Gipfeli  begüssten ND Strupler & Björn Schäfer die Pastoren und ihre Teams.
Die 2 Themen an diesem Coachingtag waren: Community & Finanzen in der Church.
Nach einer kurzen Worshipzeit nahmen Michi Sieber & Tiziana Strehler die Leaders in die Vision von Community hinein.
Ihre Leidenschaft für die Integration von neuen Menschen und Gemeinschaft in der Church war spürbar.
Mit Begeisterung nahmen sich die verschiedenen Teams  danach Zeit um Fragen wie diese für ihre ICF Church zu beantworten:
Wie ist der ganze Integrationsprozess von der Welcomebar bis zur Smallgroup in unserer Church? Wie integrieren wir als Church Menschen in eine Smallgroup? Was für einen stellenwert haben Smallgroups in unserer Church? Was sind unsere Smallgroup Ziele? Wie bilde ich Smallgroupleiter aus? Wer ist in unserer Church für Community / Smallgroup verantwortlich?
Beim Austausch erklärte jedes Team die 3 Actionstep bezüglich Community  die sie in einem halben Jahr in ihrer Church umsetzen wollen.
Am Nachmittag erzählte Joel Suter (ICF Zug) von seinen Erfahrungen im Umgang mit Finanzen Privat und in der Church. Joel erzählte sehr eindrücklich von dem Umgang mit Geld,, was sich bewährt hat und was nicht funktioniert. Klar wurde, dass der Umgang mit Geld zuerst in den eigenen Leben beginnt !
Zum Abschluss des Tages wurde noch für jedes ICF gebetet. Nach einem erfüllten Samstag mit viel Input gingen die Teams glücklich nach Hause.

One Week at ICF München

At the beginnig of June I visited ICF München for one week to learn about the church. I hoped to have good and motivating conversations with all the different Ministry leaders, but it came all different and much better than I had expected. In this one week a complete new stardegy got developed for our church in Versmold, a stradegy which will lead to our BigBang!

After the summer break of this year, we are going to add two different trainings to our weekly Team meetings.

1. ICF-DNA-Training: In this training we will help people to adopt the DNA of ICF into their Lifestyle!
2. Leaders – Training: We will train the „Key Leaders“ in our team to become ready to take on responsibility and to lead a ministry!

At the end of this year our team will be ready for the most awesome BigBang which will be celebrated on January 30 in Versmold!

Anfang Juni war ich eine Woche im ICF München, um dort möglichst viel von Ihnen zu lernen.
Ich fuhr da hin, um dort einige gute und motivierende Gespräche mit einzelnen Ministryleitern zu haben.
Aber es kam anders und besser als ich es Gedacht hatte. Aus der Woche entwickelten wir eine ganz neue Strategie bis zum BIG Bang.
Nach den Sommerferien werden wir mit unserem Team, zu den wöchentlichen Teammeetings, zwei verschiedene Trainings durchführen.
1. ICF-DNA-Training: In diesem Training wollen wir die DNA vom ICF zum Lifestyle in unseren Team werden lassen.
2. Leaders-Training: Dort werden wir die Key- Leader optimal Trainieren, dass sie ready sind um Leiterschaft im ICF Versmold zu übernehmen.
Am Ende des Jahres werden wir dann unsere Team stehen haben, so dass wir am 30. Januar den fettesten Big Bang ever celebrieren können!
